How do you know how long your cycle is?

I don't remember when I had my period last month or the month before that so is there any other way to find out how long your menstrual cycle is?
I really need to know when I'm ovulating because I might be pregnant and I want to know what the chances are.. Thank you so much.
 
just start recording the days. record the next time you start your period, as this marks the beginning of a cycle, to the day before you start your next period, as this marks the end of a cycle. you will ovulate 14 days before your next cycle begins. good luck
