How do you know (Best Buy)

I was number 35. My wife has the flu or some shit and I had to take care of our daughter this morning so I didn't get there till 9:40. If I had made my orignal 9 o'clock deadline, I would have been aces. Oh, well, I probably wouldn't have made any profit on it anyway. At least I found season 3 & 4 of Smallville for 15 bucks each.
 
I called the 2 BestBuys in my area. Seekonk, Mass has them coming in the next few days, not Sunday. North Dartmouth, Mass is suppose to get a delivery Sunday; if not Sunday, within the next days as well.
 
So I called my Best Buy, and heres how it went:

"Hi, are you going to have any Wii's for sale tomorrow?"

"Yes, we will have some tomorrow"

"Do you know how many you are getting?"

"I can't say, but we will have more than we ordered. Infact, it will be more than the launch"



Now, I don't know what to do. They open at 10, so that means more people will be out in line then I expected.
 
I remember calling Saturday for a Wii & they said they didn't have any...but magically Sunday morning they had 51. I knew the fucker was lying when he stuttered & said "to try tomorrow". I knew they were hoarding them for another promotion.
 
so, now the real question.........they are in the ad on sale at 9am......how early should I arrive to be number 1 or 2. I wanna be one of the first in case of a rare instance of them having both a Wii and a 60GB PS3. I was thinking of getting there at 530am and waiting it out.
 
Love Vegas. Everyone is still drunk and hungover. My BB got 60. Got up at 9 got to BB at 9:30. #52 woot woot! Why am I posting, time tp update and play!
 
has anyone actually seen said ad or have a link confirming this?

i just cant imagine not seeing this all over the internet by now if it was such a definite fact
 
they've never put out ads in the paper just to notify people of new shipments coming in for products that are out of stock. you just have to call and ask or ask when you're in the store.
 
There was already a huge ass line at my best buy.

Fuck it, I'm in no hurry for a wii that I'm going to wait two hours playing with my thumbs.

I'll just get one next year when some other great games come out. In the mean time, my 360 will hold me over.
 
I wouldnt bother calling and asking, show up in store and ask until you get someone who knows. I can assure you that if you ask 20 different employees, you will get 20 different awnsers.
