I'm trying to learn more about religions. I think that, in addition to reading the original texts, looking at the various interpretations, talking to theologists and clergy on their interpretation, and talking to people who practice it to see how it is practiced by individuals, it would be a good idea to attend actual services. Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Wiccan, and most Protestant services appear from my prelimary research to not be particularly be funny. However, I am really concerned that if I'm at a Pentecostal Church I will start giggling once people start speaking in tongues and rolling on the floor, because I looked a youtube video of it and it was extremely funny. I don't want to get kicked out of the church. Is there a way of keeping myself from not laughing? This isn't a troll post, I'm serious.
