Gay people take a lot of criticism and attack from ignorant people, it's difficult to know if it is actually worth arguing back and trying to explain and justify yourself to people who have no business arguing about someone else's private business in the first place.
I struggle even trying to justify to myself sometimes, nevermind other people saying that gays all have Aids, and they shouldn't try to get married, and they are sick etc.
But then I think "why am I doing this?" I don't think people should have to justify that they love someone and deserve to be treated with respect.
Is it really worth it, do you bother, does it upset you?
How do you defend yourself from this.
How do you keep from just giving in and believing that you are wrong?
