How do you joke around people who you don't know?

i just moved into a new school and they dont actually make fun of you but they joke a lot and i sometimes feel left out... how can i start making jokes about... mostly... eveyrthing??
 
Starting a new school is hard, and the only person that will help you is yourself (and some friendly people)...just laugh at their jokes and include yourself in conversations, if you just stand around saying nothing they will feel uncomfortable too.

Just be yourself, cos no one else can :)
 
Don't force it. It just has to be the right moment, ya know?

I completely get the whole joking around thing, though. My class is exactly like that. I guess it just happens when you're close to people. (Most of us have known each other since kindergarten.)

Well, good luck. And in situations like this, you can't take offense if they tease you, because it's just how they're trying to make you feel included, and they don't mean it in a cruel way.
 
hmmm. i would poke fun at myself sometimes, but only if the people around are sensitive enough to understand that only I can say such stuff about myself and that THEY should know where to draw the line when joking about me.

or just notice what jokes they crack, and make up your own insider joke as a way of communicating with them

insider jokes make people feel closer to each other *wink* but don't be too exclusive
 
dude same answer for this is what i would say to the question about what to talk to a girl about

talk to everyone like your there best friend and u have known them for years. but dont be too creepy about it

pick easy targets like cripples and politics. lol

but be clever and witty . no one likes a dumb ass
 
Just say what is on your mind when the joke happens.
But timing is key.
But if they look at you funny a couple times then stop, some people have the gift to pop a joke any time.
