Depending on what the restrictions are on the forums, you may not be able to post HTML. Some forums will directly parse the HTML, others may want you to wrap

tags around it.
Although, most forums do not allow this ability to non-admins, so you may have to reformat what you wish to post using the forum's BB codes, such as Bold, Italics, etc. If you are trying to post an embed code for Youtube, or some other flash file, just paste a link to the file.
