How do you help a strained groin muscle?

I'm pretty sure I strained a groin muscle because the inside of my right thigh has been hurting for the past day and a half. The day before it started hurting, I ran a lot more than usual, and I wrestled for about an hour. My leg didn't hurt at all that day, but I started limping the next morning because it hurt so bad. I wrestled more yesterday, and it felt fine. Now it hurts again this morning. I can barely walk up stairs because it hurts to lift my right leg. I'm a college student and have to walk every day and up numerous staircases. What should I do?
