how do you get your transmission out of lymph mode on a chrysler town and country?

2002 transmission is stuck in lymp mode. how do you get it out of lymp mode

Have to fix whatever is tripping codes...until then, it will stay in lymp mode. Reset the codes with a scan tool and try again.

it has to be hook up on diagnostic computer to have code cleared and whatever caused it needs to be addressed !

You need to have the vehicle scanned for transmission codes and fix the problem before the limp mode or fail safe quits setting. You won't go more than a mile before the ses light and codes are set again. Input and output speed sensors are a common failure which will trigger the limp mode. I'd have the dealer repair this condition just in case there is a bulletin or PCM reflash that has not been done.

well you need to find cause of it going into limp mode, overheating etc, to clear mode disconnect battery for 5mins it may take that long for all compasitors to de-energize , but if you dont correct the problem it will go back to limp mode once it runs monitors and finds the fault again
