Okay, I have a 4 year old female Chihuahua and I've had her since she was 8 weeks old. We recently discovered that she does have a heart murmur.. She is super sensitive and gets stressed easily.. I am planning a 2200 mile road trip and going to be gone for 6-7 months.. I want to take her with me but she is nervous in the car and often whines. I don't want to stress her out or put her health in danger.. Are there any ways that I could get her used to riding in the car and actually like it...Or at the very least settle down ?.. To make this journey easier on her.
