how do you get your crush to notice you?

there is a guy, who is a year ahead of me and is in my youth group. he recently moved into town and never comes to church. we onlt have youth group every other week and i only see him in the halls of school a few times a week. he is a little nerdy looking, but is also in soccer, so a little athletic. we're both average looking and kind of akward. how can i get him to notice me more?
