How do you get rid of poverty in American and teach people financial responsibility?

Institute harsh totalitarian communist rule. Seriously. Its impossible to eliminate poverty in a capitalist economy.
 
CUT OFF THE GRAVY TRAIN. Sometimes the best thing you can do for someone is to pull the rug out from under them and leave them to pull themselves up.
 
You get rid of liberals who are teaching people to be dependent on government for all their needs and they are owed a living from those who are successful. You teach them to work for their needs and wants. You also don't' go bailing them out of all their mistakes, such as. Not having self control in sex, therefor the government provides women with the option to murder their child. Bailing them out of a mortgage they should have never had. Affirmative action and quotas, giving people jobs they are not qualified for just because of their race. Lowering the bar for those who can not make it in our education system. Start challenging our children in schools. Stop teaching things in schools that have no business being taught in schools and should be taught in the home. God bless.
 
I really believe that removing all of the b.s regulation would be a start. Businesses cannot afford to operate if you dictate how they are run and overtax them. It's that simple! So many of us will never be able to open our own businesses because we won't be able to afford to.

I am not against regulation, just going through and seeing what doesn't make any sense and take that away!
 
Take a look at Obama's platform. That is a good start. People talk about democrats and handouts all the time, but if they bothered to learn about the platforms of the candidates, they would know that Obama wants to help people become self sufficient through opportunity and education.
 
You get rid of poverty by having a surplus of jobs that pay enough for a family to live on.

You teach financial responsibility by getting rid of credit.
