how do you get rid of a very well established hedge from your garden?

Wow! It would depend on the size, density and whether there are thorns......and of course, the root mass underground. In addition to the time required, there's also the time spent loading and hauling away and dumping the trash...there will be a lot. I have a hedge 2x that and I suspect 4 strong workers could get it out in a day. Two to cut, two to stack and then all 4 on the roots. It would be a long, hard day for them. Cost......no clue.

Don't know how much it would cost, but it would have to be cut down and dug out. Some bushes can have very deep root balls and can require quite a bit of digging to remove them all.

Depends on a number of factors: 1 where you live. 2 what sort of hedge. 3 access to hedge and to disposal point. 4 is it your hedge or shared with a neighbour? 5 is there a TPO on any part of it? 6. how much do you want to pay 7. why do you want to remove a hedge anyway?
