how do you get rid of a fish that you cant have or is to aggressive for your tank?

i was just wondering for future reference how to get rid of a fish because i don't know if you can sell them to pet stores of if people would like to buy them off of you.

I have a 30g. tank with 4 neons, 1 bala shark, 1 chines algae eater,and 2 scissor tails
 
I see a LOT of people on craig's list giving away a problem fish for free or selling one they can not take care of. Try that! The larger pet stores generally don't do fish buy backs, but small, family owned pet stores have purchased fish from me at a very low cost.
