How do you get better at freestyle hip hop dancing?

hey. I'm a hip hop dancer. I'm okay at choreography but am absolutely horrible at free styling. have you got any tips to help me improve or know how i can improve? or know any sites or videos that can teach me? for all you freestylers, how did you learn how to do it properly?

OK.... hip hop music is crap, and the dancing by context i would assume to also be garbage.... why don't you try break dancing, swing, or that tango stuff... you know... something that requires a little talent and is ascetically pleasing to look at.
