how do you format a usb flash drive?

it's a 4gb one..... i want it completely erased and empty again....... how do you do it properly... please tell me the brief steps ....

u can just drag the files to the recycle bin thats how i cleaned my usb flash drive

Go on My Computer and right click the drive and select format if you are on Windows.
