How do you "flash" someone on my phone?

I have a Uniden phone with flash (apparently). Because my phone has the talk button but on top of it it has the word flash. I have tried to get my flash to work but it just won't. Any ideas? (By the way flash is the thing that will allow a three way conversation on the phone. Thank you.
 
during a call, you have to press it, then dial the third number. (You also have to take into account that it might not be included in your calling plan)
 
haha.. i was totally thinking of something else wen u said flash.............................
