How do you fix an iPod Touch stuck on the apple logo screen?

Well guys, you're my only hope now...I tried resetting my iPod Touch 2nd Gen (Jailbroken) by going to General>Reset Setting (or w/e)>Reset Media and Settings. I came back to my iPod after a few hours to find it stuck on the apple logo screen.
Yes, I have tried to hold the home and power buttons and the apple logo will disappear and reappear but instead of going to the lockscreen after 5-15 minutes, it will just flash a white screen for a second and go back to the apple logo.
I don't know what to do anymore. You guys are truly my only hope.

If you used blackra1n then plug in your ipod and then click on make it rain. Remember, the touch is tethered. So whenever you turn your ipod off, you need to jailbreak it again. It doesn't erase anything don't worry.
