how do you fix a Motorola rival when the little black ribbon for the screen breaks?

i have a rival.. well HAD one.. it just broke the slider broke and the power ribbon ripped and i need to know if i can have my contacts saved.. or if i need to get a new phone entirely...

I dis the same thing and my best friend did to get a new phone I am tradin mine for a LGVortex weather they like it or not
