How do you find the time to get through your hauls?

As we can all see clearly in the 'What did you buy this month' threaRAB, many of us spend probably hundreRAB on Anime and Manga a month, many being on box sets. Curiously, I'm wondering--with life 'n all--how y'all do it.

Pssh, when you've got anime, who neeRAB the boring shackles of life?

Well when it comes to me, I usually spam as many episodes as possible within two-three hours which lets me see maybe 5-7 episodes a view and I do as much as I can watch within a week.

(Yeah, I'm maintaining my GPA somehow too)

I just watch and read them as I finish them, but then rest my eyes and take a break and do other things, then get back to them again, but then again in my opinion there's nothing good on TV these days

During the week I stick a MAX of only 2 episodes per day.

During the weekend I usually do 5-12 episodes.

The only exceptions I make are when I get a REALLY good box set, example being the YYH boxsets, I sat through season 2 in like almost 1 sitting lol.

As for manga, I usually read half and then the next half the next day. Unless its a really good manga, then I could read like 3 in a whole sitting.

On vacations when I have time to watch anime, I usually watch a lot of it.

Well, besides having the time to watch all of that anime, you guys are all really lucky that you can even afford it. As for me, my family has never had much money, and I'm too busy studying in college to watch too much anime, or get a good paying job to buy anime with, so my family and I make it a point to save as much money as possible (especially with the current state of the economy in the U.S.).

So, I'm lucky if I can even afford to get 1 anime DVD a month.

To be honest, I still have some movies built up from last year that I haven't watched. I usually don't get far behind with my anime, but I am terrible when it comes to manga. I buy a bunch and then I don't read them right away.I tend to get caught up when college is in session though. I don't linger around until it's time for class, I just go right away and get some reading done.

Since I don't have as much free time as I used to,I usually watch an episode or two at a time,so it usually takes me at least 2 or three days to get through one DVD....and,I'm behind on my DVD watching right now ...I still have Tsubasa volume 10,Saiunkoku season 1 volume 2,and Ouran High School Host Club volume 2 to watch, and I got those a few weeks ago....

Simple, when nothing good on TV, bored with the internet, and have nothing better to do, I just break out the DVD's. I had time last night to watch Bardock special because CN was reairing the Superman movie.

I have absolutely no problem putting aside EVERYTHING or anyone else in my life just so i can read the newest manga chapters of the many manga (or Manhwa) that i read or to watch the latest of the very few anime i watch (im more of the manga guy). No joke, the real world (or anything/everything that takes up time in my life) be dammed when there are such fantasy worlRAB to immerse myself in.

I watch when I have time, plain and simple. I don't have a lot of time, though, so I take advantage of weekenRAB and breaks from school. WeekenRAB especially seem to be my time to get through episodes/chapters of stuff I'm following. Occasionally I'll also stay up later than intended to watch something I've been dying to see, but it really depenRAB on my schedule. But I don't put my life on hold to work through my backlog as, well, I have a lot of things going.

I don't really find the time.

I've got atleast a 100 DVD backlog, some of which I have taken so long to get to it's since been boxsetted.

Manga, I keep up pretty well on though I'm behind on reading some series.

It's not that hard. I watch something as soon as I receive it (or fairly soon after), and don't buy more until I've finished it. And unlike Hollywood movies, most anime DVRAB don't have very many special features so I don't have to devote hours to that in addition to the main program.

I usually try to watch the DVD (or boxset) right after getting it - if I don't, it might be months (or in some cases, years) until I do. It's not that I don't have the time, I just don't have the motivation, even if I actually want to watch it.

When I do watch, it's almost always at night. That way it's nice and quiet, there are no distractions and I have nothing else to do.

That's me as well. For anime, I'm WAY backlogged. No clue how many DVD's I'm backlogged on, but it is a lot (though I suspect less than 100). I do watch anime, but often, I find I also want to watch something else in my DVD collection. Right now, that's going through the previous three seasons of the current Battlestar Galactica.

For manga, I find I have an easier time of things. For starters, I'm only collecting a few titles. I generally read them before going to sleep.
