How do you find the semi major axis of the orbit of an exoplanet?

If an exoplanet orbits a star of one solar mass and the orbital period is five days, how do you fine the semi major axis of the orbit?

** I don't want the answer, I want to know how to solve the problem. I can't find out how from either of my two books **

Any help is welcomed.
