How do you find out if it is your amp or your stereo that is not working?

What procedures or methods are taken to find the solution.
All lights are on indicating that it is working properly.
No sound to the sub woofer that is connected to the amp. Everything is installed correctly.
 
If you are using an amp for subwoofers it will have a lite to let u know its working...and u will be able to tell if your stereo is workin by the lights on it...do you hear any sound..see any lights? it could be a number of things

Ok check the power wire for the amp see if that fuse was blown if not id chek the remote wire i thinks its usually blue
