What if it was when that person found out he was being sent to Iraq?
This guy in particular is a buddy of mine who went in the Army and served three years in Korea, then as soon as he returned home, found out he was being shipped to Iraq. He didn't think this was "fair", so he split. He said all the time away from his daughter was just too much. He had about a year and some change to go on his enlistment, and it would have been spent in Iraq. I think he made an idiot decision. What's your take?
