Hi, everyone.

Im new to the board, I was searching for a health support board and I bumped onto this one.
Anyway, I'm 16 of age, and I weigh 120kg.. I'm heavier than the people on the biggest loser television show. And I'm not even an adult yet. Considering I weigh alot, and look like I weight alot. I'm heavier than the people who look twice the size as me at school.

The weird thing is that, I can run, spring, and jog long distances. I work out but only indoor(weights) because I'm so busy with senior school. Why do I weigh so much even though I can do what most people who weight just as much can't do?

And how do I lose weight when im so busy doing exams/assighments ?

It mostly comes down to:

* How much and what kind of food you eat.
* How much and what kind of exercise you do (including daily life as well as specifically working out, playing sports, etc.).
* Genetics. Some people are hard gainers, some are easy gainers, and a lucky few gain muscle more easily than fat.

The other thing to remember is, for many larger people, the extra weight is not all fat (some of it may be muscle, which is often the case for those who do exercise). If that is the case for you, you may want to think in terms of losing fat (while trying to preserve muscle), rather than losing weight.
