I've had a lot of people that keep on asking me how I got these shots :

The way i explaned it was I just used a regular household lamp and I waited till it was dark and i changed the white balance to incandascent then i told my cat to sit , and i beamed the light on to my cat , and I used a 4 mp Nikon Coolpix , is that is a good enough explanation ?

Thank you :)

That's part of it. That's your set-up. They might also want to know what aperture, shutter speed and ISO you used. It will be in the properties of any digital image. Old-time photographers used to keep logs of such things, to help them do it again the same way.

By the way, nice work on the low-light cat pictures! That's a good way to isolate a subject and remove a distracting background.

Oh yes, and I'm amazed that you can tell your cat to sit. Most cats won't listen to orders.
