How do you educate people without adding the arrogance on top of it?

Most educated people think they know everything but they do not. They feel like they are higher than uneducated people when they are not. I believe if they worked hard and earned it what they got they wouldnt act it that manner. I have 2 degrees and I think what they teach in school is BS because alot of the things I learned I already know or could have found out myself. A good example is comparing a person who could not read to one that does, more likely the person who could not read would be more humbled
 
There's a fine line between arrogance and confidence. Would you want to learn f/ someone that wasn't confident?
A man that doesn't read is no better off than one that can't.
