Hi, I would like to know how to draw a sea shell. Any kind, without having to buy a book, I'm only going to be using once. Cuz I'm making pinch pots in Ceramics class, and I wanted to put a sea shell design.
Also I want to know how to draw Sea Turtle also. Thanks in advance
Also, a sea star aka starfish ;] thanks

well its kinda hard to explain, you could just go online and find a picture to trace. but the turtle, draw a circle, with legs and a head. the starfish, draw a star then erase the points and round them out. you could also make the star a little swirls so its not a perfect star. the sea shell is very hard to explain. you could try drawing like a semicircle and then connect the ends in a point. so that it looks something like this

sorry if this is confusing...ur best bet would probably be to go online and look up pictures. hope this helps.

You don't need to buy a book from the library...*wink wink
But to answer your question, What kind of seashell? The flat/concave clam like shells is what you seem to be describing. Try to use a milk cap from the edge, pulling it across the 'pinch point' to create a seashell striped effect.
