How do you download photos from your phone to your computer?

I have an At&t Pantech Reveal, and a Compaq Presario with Windows. I have the USB cord, but I do not have an external memory card. Please tell me what I need, and tell me how to do it. A source would be appreciated. Thanks!!
 
plug the phone into the pc. On the pc go to My Computer. You should see your phone listed there as a drive. Double click on it, find your pics, and drag them onto your desktop. This method works with most phones.
