How do you determine the slope of a curve when you only know a few ordered pairs?

How do you determine the slope of a curve when you only know a few ordered pairs, but you don't know the actual algebraic function of the curve?

For example, I plotted a curve with the following points:

(1, 22.17)
(2, 0.473)
(3, 0.246)

It is a decreasing function. How would I go about determining the slope of this curve. In other words, I am trying to determine the percentage at which this curve is decreasing. I guess this is basically a question dealing with computing a derivative when you only know the ordered pairs. Can this be done using something like MS Excel?
