how do you delete the browser internet history on your cell phone? htc evo specificaly?

I just bought this phone and my husband looked up a bunch stupid stuff all pertaining to the male anatomy. Well family has asked to see my phone but when you hit Google search everything we have looked at is just right there! So how on earth do u delete it? On my phone so sorry for typos
