From the menu "Tools" Choose "Clear Private Data"
Check all the boxes and click "Clear Private Data Now"

If the problem still exists try this
Control Panel --> Internet Options
In the part "Browsing History" Click "Delete"
Then press "Ok"

Try also these :
Start --> Run --> "temp"
Then delete them all

By all the history, I mean like the stuff that you put in search engines too, because within just a few days the previous search thing is cluttered.

Go to :

Tools->Options->privacy

Check the box saying Clear history when firefox closes.
Closing firefox will now clear all history

You can clear the private data(history,cookies,temporary files)in Firefox in three ways:

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Del and the Clear Private Data Windows should come up and check all the boxes of the of the ones you want to be deleted then press Clear Private Data Now
2. Go to Tools scroll down and click on Clear Private Data and you do the rest like in no. 1
3. Go to Tools then scroll down and click on Options then click on the Privacy tab then click Clear Now then you do the rest like in no. 1

you could go into settings or the easy thing to do is download a freeware program called ccleaner (it used to be called crap cleaner) it does all of that for you just check the box of what you want to remove like history, saved passoword, ect. if you want it just google ccleaner

go to tool, clear private data. tick all of them and press clear. even the search titles in search engines will disappear.
and you can go to tools, options, privacy at the bottom there is the same clear now.and if you want you can remove the tick for "remember what i enter in form and search bar. this way it will never remember what you type.
