how do you deal with your period in the military. I.E (boot camp)?

The same as any other time. When I went through, all females were required to carry on them at all times some feminine hygiene supplies because women's cycles can get wacky during high stress/living with lots of women times (and yes, the female drill sergeants checked us to ensure we had them--don't worry, we carried them in baggies in our pocket). I found the OB tampons (without an applicator) to be the easiest to use because the other types, well, the apps kept getting smooshed in my pocket and would use pads for backup. I also kept track of my cycles (they stayed regular) so I knew when to expect my "friend".

I am just worried about my period in the military. I have a all male recruit station and I am not going to ask them that question because it is a little private.

Trust me your recruiter has heard it before and won't care if you ask him

It's not that private at all. You are not the first women to go to boot-camp. They've confronted that issue hundreds of thousands times before.

One of my friends went into the Army Reserves and she said due to all the stress she actually didnt have a cycle the whole time. As soon as she finished it came back right on time. You can also try a the birth control patch. I use them and when I want to skip a cycle i put on the new patch instead of skipping a week as told.

I dealt with it OK;

My period was only eight weeks of basic followed by A-School.
