Ignore the comment, it is not true. If you are feeling a bit down because of what she said, don't be, because a rider who has to insult other riders and horses is actually 99% of the time insecure of their own riding abilities or their horse, so they put down others to make themselves feel "better" then everyone else. Don't get too upset though, I've heard lots of nasty comments about people. Learn to ignore it haha! You cannot tell a horse's talent and ability by it's colour. However, I have heard from some professional dressage riders, that if you choose like a pinto or something, it makes a judges job harder, because of the colour pattern it looks like you are not symmetrical in aligning your body. But, regardless of the color, a good judge should be able to tell how you are riding your horse, so honestly this whole color thing doesn't matter much. Try not to respond to her, just ignore it and continue with your day like you don't care one bit (hard, i know!). If you are really itching to say something to her, play it cool (don't heat it up). Say something like "Personally, I like to judge my horse by it's talent, not by it's color. If you want to judge my horse's talent by it's color, go right ahead", then walk away... haha. Hope I helped! :)
