L laughgrl13 Guest Mar 20, 2008 #3 wrap the hair around the barrel and to creat soft waves lightly spary a hairspray while on the barrel to hold ( or just after taking it out) but do not clamp down... it creates a wierd crimp at the end of your hair... hope this helps!
