...recording) onto a blank DVD? I made a video recording on my camcorder which records onto a mini-dvd. I finalized the mini-dvd on the camcorder and put it into my computer and it played fine. Then I tried to copy the mini-dvd's contents onto a blank dvd and it wouldn't. It would say things like disc unwritable, unrecognizable, etc.
How do I copy the mini-dvd onto a regular-size DVD disc? What programs?
Its a Panasonic camcorder. It records right onto a mini-disc. I made videos and finalized the disc. When I put it into my computer, it played fine. I tried to use the recommended software that came with the camera but it wouldnt copy the mini-disc. So then, I tried using Nero, and it was being all weird and wouldnt copy either.
 
It is strange that the contents of the mini DVD is not being copied. Once the contents from Mini DVD has been copied into the hard disk, it is easy for you to copy to DVD disc. What software you are using for writing the DVD? If it is a standard one you can copy your mini DVD to normal DVD by choosing the copy disc option.
