cooking time of fish in the oven depends on the fish. something like sole that is thin, about 10 min. fish that is thick, like cod longer.
i cook fish on the stove top and it is not greasy. just flour it lightly and heat the pan with a little oil or cooking spray before putting the fish in the pan. another thing you could try is putting lemon in the pan along with garlic. i also use old bay seasoning in the flour. good luck i hope this works.
