P papamoto22 New member Jul 24, 2009 #2 Boiling time will vary depending on how you would like it cooked. If put into already boiling water, I reckon about 4 minutes will have it somewhat firm, 6 minutes more soft than firm, and 8 minutes mushy. Poke it with a fork, when it goes in with only a bit of resistance is how I prefer.
