How do you cook acorn squash in conventional oven? Time, temp, seasoning?

Love the stuff but haven't a clue as to how long to cook, whether to use water in the pan, spices, etc., etc. Helllllppppp!

slice down the middle, add a little butter with some nutmeg or cinnimon, cook at 350 until fork pierces the flesh about 25mins.
