I'm 15 and I just had a fight with my mom over playing shooter video games. I always get straight A's (I have a 4.3 GPA) and usually don't have any problems focusing on homework, but my mom's being immature and keeps shouting insults at me (although I admit the fight was partially my fault). I have an important paper due after the long weekend, and I can't even sit still for a few minutes to draft it. Help!
On a side note, how do I persuade my mom that playing shooters won't turn me into a killer forty years from now? I clearly know the difference between fantasy violence and the real thing.
No, I hang w/ my friends outside often. I always go play basketball on Fridays, and I spend maybe 3-4 hrs playing video games a week.
