How do you clean your Ducati?

I am fairly new to my 09 Ducati 1198 and this is my first Ducati. I was wondering how you guys go about cleaning your bikes. What methods do you use? What do you need to do to the tubular frame and open clutch cover? How do you keep your bodywork looking mint? What products do you use? Thanks!
 
I use honda polish, works on all surfaces, metal and plastics. spray light coat onto large surfaces then apply like wax. spray onto soft rag for small surfaces then apply. whip off after a minute or so, then wipe over surfaces again with micro fiber cloth to polish and shine.
 
I use the Honda Polish, except now I think its called Original Polish, or something to that extent. I live in Las Vegas and my bike tends to get really dusty, do I need to worry about the dust/sand scratching or making swirl marks? I have noticed my bike attracts a lot less dust when I do use the Honda Polish.
 
stays cleaner longer, makes it easier to clean later also. works great on rear wheel grime removal. no haze like wax but has great shine and smooth surface feel. Safer than spraying soapy water all into your electrical wiring and metal surfaces that could oxidized and corroded.
