changing brakes on american cars is accually very easy. it should have a sliding brake caliper on it which only takes the right size allen wrench to remove.once you have taken the boltsout of the caliper you will need to put a screwdriver or something similar in between the brake pad and the brake rotor. you need to do this because there is a "piston" on the back side of the caliper that you need to depress in order to have enough room in between the brake pads to lift the caliper and pads off the rotor. once you have done this just look at the old pads and replace each pad with the new one that looks exactly the same. as a note, once you have the brake caliper off, you will need to push the piston even further into the caliper to allow more room for the new pads. this can be done with a pair of caliper vise grips. any parts store should know exactly what you need. once you have the new pads on the brake caliper, put it back into position on the rotor, and slide the bolts back in and tight them.
