I would not suggest doing this yourself unless your a well trained technician. A lot of work is involved in doing this.
To swap out the transmission, you must put the vehicle on a lift, remove both front tires, remove both front axles, remove all the front suspension, remove the engine cradle, drop the motor and transmission as one unit from the bottom of the car and then you can seperate the transmission from the motor.
