how do you change and replace the directional button/pad on the 2007 sidekick lx?

mine is chipped and only "down" works. when i press up, left, or right, it doesnt respond. im buying a new pad and willing to take my phone apart, but how do i do this? thanks

NOT THE NEWEST LX. the 2007 blue/brown one
