how do you change a ford f-250 tail light?

I popped out the 5/16 bolts and can see two white tabs holding onto the light. I tried prying with a screwdriver but they don't move. It almost looks like you have to unscrew it but I can barely fit a screwdriver in the top one and not even a nail in the bottom one.
 
If you opened the tailgate and unscrewed (popped???) the two silver torx head screws, then you need to grab it and (pop) it out. Use something plastic with a rag under it to pry against the tail light and bed side.
