how do you call the job where you test the things other people make ?

It's about big brands creating stuff and not putting them on the market before giving samples to you and you have to test them , and make prospects about them.
it can involve electronics, appliances etc etc.
have any ideas ?
i want the official name cause i'm gonna need it when i search for it .
i want to go to study abroad and i don't know the name...
