If a rifle which shoots 9.50 Gram bullets at 777 m/s.. How do you calculate how much it will slow down over a distance of 1000 meters.

Or any distance for that matter.

It won't actually slow down unless there is a force acting on it. (Something gets in its way or air resistance for example.)

You have to calculate the force acting on the bullet in the opposite directing of its motion. Then find the acceleration in the opposite direction and this is how much it will slow down in m/s2
