I was putting my seat into my car, and i bumped the capacitor, when the car was off and the ground was off the battery, and i then put the ground on and turned on the car, when i bumped the capacitor i believe i knocked it upside down, anyways, the car was running for about 30 seconds when i heard a pop, and was suddenly consumed by smoke, obviously my capacitor blew because its now leaking some fluid, probably battery acid, but i would like to know how it blew, was it because the ground and power were touching? was it because it was hooked up right? was it because i knocked it over? help me plz!!!
thanks guys, i think i will just buy a new one, they aren't too expensive, do you have any suggesstions on a brand thats inexpensive, yet durable, i had a boss 2 farad, but i didn't like how it didn't have a cap over the terminals and i have seen some that do
