How do you apply a rear view mirror on a Pontiac Grand AM?

When I was cleaning my car, it fell off. Its a 2000 Pontiac Grand AM so I had it for 9 years, it has never came off before. Dont have a clue on how to put it back on.
 
Don't glue it... Glue dosn't stick to glass well. Buy heavy duty 3M double sided tape, or even a kit designed for hanging the mirror from the windshield.
 
there are kits that you can get at your local auto parts store to reinstall it........be sure to follow the directions.......use alcohol to clean the area where you are going to place the mirror and be patient and let it cure....otherwise it is likely to fall off again
 
most of time they just slide back on hanger but if it is not on window then you go by glue at any parts store made just for that and reglue it back on
