How do you add video to "Motorola i870" ?

ok i have a motorola i870 brand new just got it and i have mp3's and photos up on it but how on earth do i add videos? i have 3gp but can't figure out which format to use to convert my videos. can somebody pls help

Did u mean u have a video converter that lets u change mpegs and avi files into 3gp?? and when I upload a vid to my cell I use MPT it has always worked for me and sometimes I change them to 3gps but mpegs will also work on my phone (I'm not sure about the one u have). Let me know if u still need help on this.
 
3gp is the format. Try to download one then use those setting when you convert.
I havent had much luck, but havent really tried.
You might try a google search on i870 tutorials and/ or video
 
ok lemme explain i have this video converter called 3gp converter and it has like 12 different settings. i tryed using the settings with the decription "mobile phone" but all it does is convert to 3gpp not 3gp. and my phone will not recognize 3gpp it only does 3gp. is there another converter i should use? and wats a mpt file?
 
ok, you never mentioned 3gpp in your first post...
[12 settings] That's why I said download a 3gp, play it on your phone, then use those settings when you convert your own stuff.
Try the nokia converter, do a google search.
MPT is for consumer use and is mainly designed to upload ringtones, pics,
videos, to backup the phonebook on the phone and to sync with your pc.
