How do you act to get a guy to dance with you at a dance?

Hey, i was just at a high school dance this night.
It was three hours long and i only got two people who asked me to dance with them.
i don't get it... my friends got like 5 or 6.. and not all of them are pretty on the eyes.. i think i'm not hard on the eyes.. I'm usually on the dance floor with my friends just dancing and having a good time.. how do you act so that a guy would ask you to dance?
 
you could always ask a guy rather than a guy ask you, but it all depends on luck. dont act all shy be bold and sometimes a guy will ask u
 
Act like your his friend. Don't you dare seem like it would be anything more that fun.

Regardless of what you actually feel you don't want him to feel pressured because he has to go "Oh god, this girl who is head over heels in love with me wants to dance, UGH"

Just play it cool and be like "hey shithead, you wanna dance?"
