How do yo get free cell phone service?

I know that there is is some way to get in the mother board in a cell phone, and hack it. Like taking wires and soldering them together. Free cell phone service would be quite entertaining. I don't care if it ruins my phone, but however, I do want the free service. I have a lg shine CU720 (BLACK)... if it helps. But please help me do this.
